Music producers: Join the Soundation Halloween Jam online
Earlier this year, Soundation announced their launch of the world’s most collaborative music studio with new feature Collab Live – enabling seamless, real-time collaboration online.
Now, the Swedish browser-based music studio has teamed up with Reason Studios and Splice to invite every music maker all over the globe to set a world record in “largest real-time music collaboration”.
When Soundation’s real-time collaboration feature Collab Live was launched in April, CEO Adam Hasslert explained the technology as “Google Docs, but for music production” and stated that Soundation is “the first music creation service to take collaboration to this level”.
Soundation’s real-time collaboration feature enables users to produce music together in real-time with no need to sync manually or send projects back and forth.
The Soundation “Halloween Jam”
On October 26, Soundation launch their “Halloween Jam” – a 7-day event aiming to set a world record in “largest real-time music collaboration”.
“We’re hosting the largest gathering of music collaborators online where anyone can invite anyone to make music together in real-time!”, says Adam Hasslert, CEO of Soundation.
“Creators already meet and collaborate via Collab Live every day and we’d like to encourage more people to be creative together, especially during these strange and isolated times.”
How does it work?
- Date: 26th of October (12:00 CET) – 1st of November.

Soundation has partnered with Splice who will provide selected sample packs for free during the challenge, as well as Reason Studios who will unlock the online version of their flagship Europa synth to all creators who join the world record challenge.
“Making music is very much about experimenting, collaborating and having fun, which is exactly what this is.”, says Niklas Agevik, CEO, Reason Studios.
