The new Arturia Step Black Edition MIDI controllers are here
Arturia are re-issuing their much-beloved trio of MIDI controllers in a new sleek aesthetic – New Arturia Step Black Edition.
The new Arturia Step Black Edition is a commemoration of the success of their affordable MIDI controller/sequencer combos.
The controllers are incredibly popular amongst producers and synth enthusiasts as they each offer an assortment of inputs and outputs to suit a huge variety of applications. They’re also great DAW controllers and make a perfect link between the digital and analog worlds.
Not only have Arturia changed the look of each of the controllers in the new range, they’ve also included various extras.
The new Arturia Beatstep Black Edition now includes an extra 2 CV/Gate cables alongside Analog Lab, SEM V and Ableton Live Lite software. Arturia’s new KeyStep Black Edition features a bonus 3 CV/Gate cables and the new BeatStep Pro Black Edition comes with an extra 14 CV/Gate cables.
A better looking BeatStep Pro…
The BeatStep Pro has long been a popular choice for producers, beat-makers and synth enthusiasts as it has a ton of very helpful features and it comes in at a very good price.
I personally wasn’t a fan of the off-white as I’m sure many of you were, so I’m glad to see some more options here.
The Arturia KeyStep also just recently received a firmware update introducing a variety of new features from live control over the sequences length, to better quantizing functionality. For more information on that update, check out our article here.
