Better days for Prince Kaybee as he survives hit and run
Prince Kaybee has certainly had better days than this past weekend when he was on the wrong side of a hit and run while travelling to a gig in Pretoria.

The house DJ who is up for Song of the Year at SAMA22 for his hit Better Days feat. Audrey was not driving.
Kaybee was being driven by a friend to the gig and was the passenger in his white BMW 1 Series vehicle. What happened was a Toyota Hilux drove into him and then simply sped off. This happened on the Krugersdorp Road, near Joburg.
Neither Kaybee nor his friend were injured.
“The driver of the Hilux was swerving on and off the road. I told my driver the guy was driving as if he was drunk.” He told reporters.
“Little did I know he would drive straight into us. Next thing we woke up on the side of the road,” he elaborated.
His car is a complete write-off and Kaybee is said to be in some shock after the incident which could easily have killed him and his driver.
“I’m grateful I survived. Life goes on and I need to find some coping mechanism to help me deal with the shock.”
Let’s hope he’s not in too much shock to attend this weekend’s SAMA 2016 show in Durban. He has been on heavy rotation on radio and now that the SABC radio stations are meant to play 90% local music there is no doubt he will be heard by even more nee fans.
We wish Kaybee a speedy recovery. Keep on making cool music bro!
