Nicolas Jaar announces new album ‘Cenizas,’ set for release on 27 March via Other People.
Nicolas Jaar has been busy in the studio this last while. In February he gave us the Against All Logic record 2017 – 2019, his first (but definitely not last) offering for 2020.
Now, Jaar has announced a new album under his own name called Cenizas, set for release on 27 March via his Other People imprint.
Accompanying the announcement Jaar released the lead track off the album, “Sunder,” which features the talented producer’s own vocals as well as a track release.
This is so Nicolas Jaar, seeing as the announcement of the Against All Logic came with a 50:44 hour mix of unreleased music.
Cenizas
A press conference details how the sentiment behind Cenizas represents “Jaar’s life and creative output from 2017 to 2019,” with the Spanish word translating to “ashes” in English.
