5 Magic tracks to listen out for at MAGIC of Jungala this weekend

MAGIC of Jungala is brought to you by the same good folk who do the massive Jungala festival each year; Psynopticz Productions.

It means we’re in good hands this weekend as their productions are always phenomenal. They really do go beyond expectations when it comes to putting on an excellent show.

But MAGIC of Jungala is a slightly different twist on their usual all out full weekend parties.

This is event is 14 hours long and is neatly packaged into a single day (Saturday) which is an excellent way to get your groove on, have a ton of fun and then still enjoy a nice Sunday chilling out and recovering from the ridiculous amount of fun you’ll have had.

The venue is amazing too. Hillcrest Quarry is neatly tucked away in the Durbanville Winelands so it’s on the doorstep of the entire Northern suburbs and West Coast. It’s just a 20 minute drive from the Southern Suburbs and the CBD so no packing required for a long haul to an event.

In fact it’s so close you can literally come just for the DJs you like and leave again.

Not that we’re suggesting this as the lineup is a stellar one; mixing up techno/deep house with banging progressive beats will make for a groovy day and a slamming night.

1. BLISS – Follow your Bliss Mix

Israeli producer BLISS is no stranger to these parts of the world and he is known to wow crowds with a really spectacular show.

This ‘Follow your Bliss Mix’ has over 120,000 plays and is also downloadable – bonus!!! No doubt BLISS will perform at peak time so get ready to throw those hands in the air and rock your socks off.

2. Neelix – Wherever You Are (Mystical Complex RMX)

Check out this reworking of the massive Neelix – ‘Wherever You Are’ by Mystical Complex for a good idea of the groove this guy is going to lay down. Super sexy beats for a super sexy party!!!

3. Headroom – Colour Blind

Headroom is the king of the day time here in Cape Town and his brand new track has been doing damage on dancefloors for the past month or two. Thankfully it is now released so we can all enjoy it! Colour Blind is just a taste of what to expect at MAGIC of Jungala from the mother city’s finest.

4. Vertigo – Breaking The Habit (Vertigo ft. Sacred Element Remix – Linkin Park *FREE DOWNLOAD)

Hailing from Mexico we have a feeling Vertigo is going to be the big crowd pleaser of the day when he arrives armed with the plethora of remixes of popular songs he likes to transform into trance anthems, as well as his original tunes. Check this reworking of Linkin Park;

5. Liquid Viking Live On Bush Radio ( Bushradio – 89.5 FM )

Liquid Viking is a shining new star on the progressive scene. Signed to Psynopticz Records this young producer has been biding his time and fine tuning his sound into something special. Read our interview with Liquid Viking here.
