Goldswindler to showcase Protoculture psy project Shadow Chronicles
It’s time to get your party on as Goldswindler presents the Dia De Los Muertos Festival.
With the thriving electronic music scene of Cape Town, Goldswindler presents a boutique-style festival.
With each production offering a unique theme and setting, they promise a once in a lifetime experience.
Previous themes they’ve produced include; Mansions, Fields, Barns and Hotels and now they’re going for the Mexican holiday, ‘Dia De Los Muertos.’
What’s special about this event is the fact that it’s the first time in 6 years that Goldswindler is venturing outdoors, the Cape Town Ostrich Ranch, to be exact.
They will play host to some of the best on the international and local circuit, and, joining forces with Black Media Digital Productions, promise an audio visual experience that will “blow your tits off,” they say.
Protoculture showcases Shadow Chronicles
A big addition to the lineup for Dia De Los Muertos Festival is that top South African trance house producer, Protoculture, plans to showcase his new psytrance project, Shadow Chronicles at the event.

This will be the first time worldwide that anybody gets to hear the new Shadow Chronicles music.
Protoculture is one of SA’s top exports. He moved over from psytrance to mainstream club music and has made a massive name for himself in that arena.
For ‘Dia’ he will grace the stage as both Protoculture and Shadow Chronicles, and this will be the first showcase of his new psytrance music.

International headliner Haldolium is a German-based progressive trance act that brings dark acoustic scenarios to play, along with weird sounds making them truly psychedelic. If you’ve been going to trance parties since the early 2000’s you will no doubt know who these guys are.
DJ Bromista is a shy Spaniard who hides his face with a mask, but don’t let that fool you for his deep, powerful progressive music will have you moving your feet.
DJ Miss Creamer has been a resident of Goldswindler events and plays funky progressive tech house.
Our Saffa techno stars, Killer Robot, also don the lineup. They have quickly climbed the ranks as being one of the top techno acts in the homeland as well as making a serious splash on the international circuit.
Dia De Los Muertos Festival will be held on the 30th of September at the Ostrich Ranch.
