DJ Shimza to host a free industry workshop prior to his ‘One Man Show’ tomorrow
For 3 hours tomorrow DJ Shimza will share his industry knowledge with you, for free.
Tomorrow is the day of Shimza’s One Man Show, Soweto Edition, taking place at Zone 6. With Shimza being both a local and international star, it should come as no surprise that tickets to the event are officially sold out, though you can try your luck on the Facebook event page to see if tickets are floating around.
Besides the already-awesome show, Shimza will be hosting a FREE industry workshop between 12:00pm-15:00pm at the event space.
He took to Twitter to announce the workshop, which will cover copyright, publishing and registering music; aspects of upmost vitality for longevity in the music industry.

“Come through this Saturday between 12-3pm at Zone 6 Venue if you keen to learn.”
The workshop will cover most topics pertaining to the music industry such as TV and radio submissions, production, deejaying, marketing, PR and events.
Most producers have creative workshops, which are absolutely valid, but knowing the admin side to the music industry can really make your career.
His residency at Privilege in Ibiza started on June 7, but you know DJ Shimza loves his home, SA, and will always make time for us.
