DJ Mag’s Alternative Top 100 DJs 2019 a house/techno dream
DJ Mag’s Alternative Top 100 DJs 2019 is powered by Beatport, your one-stop dance music shop.
Last month DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ list was announced, heavily dominated by EDM, which is fair considering it’s a vote and sale-based operation.
But, despite chart positions being of no real value, one can’t deny the exhilaration in seeing your favourite artist’s standing. Yay, charts!
Now, DJ Mag and Beatport joined for forces to bring an alternative Top 100 chart using data from Top 100 DJs voters and house/techno Beatport purchases and it’s (obviously) a techno/house lover’s dream.
The top five is seething with talent, with the top dog of techno claiming the top spot for the second year in a row.
