Black Coffee wants Kanye on his next album. This is an ambitious goal but definitely one that is a possibility.
Black Coffee wants Kanye to feature on his new album in an attempt to move away from being just a house music producer. His most recent album, ‘Pieces Of Me’ was released in the States to the American audience by Ultra Music.

“I want to be a producer, not a house music producer. My next album, I want to be able to have Kanye, [but] not force Kanye on a house track.” Said Black Coffee to Billboard Dance.
Not wanting to stay confined to the category of house music is an indicator of the producer’s inclination towards growth.
A true homegrown talent
Black Coffee who has a true talent and love for music is also an intelligent and level headed person. His authentic nature is one that other artists both local and international are drawn to. Therefore, the likelihood that he could reach out to Kanye and get a response is not too far-fetched.
He is also the first South African artist to ever walk away with a BET Award for Best International Act: Africa.
The award was not only an achievement for himself as an artist but was also a win for South Africans. Black Coffee had this to say about the honour…
“It’s a great pat on the back. But honestly, the next BET [win] must be on a Saturday on the main show, not the African category. That’s where I need to take the music: I’m not a dark horse, I’m part of the scene.”
His vision for the future has always circled around taking not only his career but the whole scene to the next level. He hopes to achieve larger cultural significance and to be a contributing part of the international music scene.
Black Coffee wants Kanye to work with him and it would most certainly be a memorable track if it ever came to light.
