Black Coffee Alicia Keys collaboration on the cards
A Black Coffee Alicia Keys collaboration is on the cards according to SA’s biggest house music export.
There’s hardly a week that goes by these days without another feather in the cap of Nathi Maphumulo and the potential of a Black Coffee Alicia Keys collab is pretty tantalising.
Just this weekend past he won the BET award for Best International Artist: Africa
Black Coffee confirmed to the Sunday Times that he will be working with the award-winning singer/composer but said little else to how and when exactly this would happen.
He said “[I] can’t keep telling people everything I’m doing, as it may bore people.”
Swizz Beatz
Apparently record producer Swizz Beatz is a big fan and since he is Keys’ husband, it’s very likely we could be hearing something pretty soon.
As you can see from the Instagram post below Swizz Beatz made a point of vocally supporting his album – Pieces of Me.

Next stop a Grammy for Black Coffee?
A Black Coffee Alicia Keys collab with Swizz Beatz involved would certainly up the ante.
