In keeping the excitement, fans can also look forward to a new venue for Bazique Festival 2020.
Bazique truly lives up to its definition: Delighted, Excited, Euphoric, Ecstatic, Cock-a-hoop. Since its inception it quickly established itself as SA’s most original and exciting large-scale festival of performing arts.
Leaps and bounds beyond a music festival, Bazique offers a 3-day reverie of art, music and surreal shenanigans set in a majestic new lakeside venue in Paarl– a mere 35 minutes’ drive from Cape Town.
It takes a village to raise a truly magical festival and this fiery collaboration between industry stalwarts have raised a unicorn:

The 2020 edition of the festival will feature 9 international DJs and 60 local live bands and DJs, delightfully spliced with performance art, spectacular installations, art-cars, art-boats, pop-ups and a smorgasbord of the unexpected.
The headliners are Terr, Marcus Worgull, Madmotormiquel, Floyd Lavine, SHIMZA, Freudenthal/Pardon Moi, Ticon and The Head Gardener.
Revelers can immerse themselves in the music, art installations, art cars and boats, a starlit spa, amazing food, silent discos all on one venue.
I always picture Bazique as a lusher AfrikaBurn with less admin (for the reveler) and better-curated music.
