Five must-haves for Eden Experience this weekend
The Eden Experience this weekend features two international headliners – Earstrip and Querox plus the mighty Headroom, Dane Stirrat and more.

Hosted at the magical Zevenwacht Wine Estate just 25 mins from Cape Town CBD, this day party is a highlight on the outdoor party calendar.
Party season is only just getting warmed up so we’ve put together a short list of reminders for being prepared and having the time of your life.
This one’s for the ladies…

1. Cool Sunnies
Eden is a 12-hour day party and if you’re worth your salt as a true-blue party maniac you’ll get there nice and early.
The first DJ – who happens to be the IDM Mag #EdenExperienceDJ competition winner and a kickass DJ at that – is Tanner Mason and he will drop his first beat at midday.
So, you’ll want to get there in time to cram in as much fun as possible. This means a solid daytime sesh so don’t forget your sunglasses – it’s a must!
PS: don’t forget sun cream too. Our African sun can leave one looking like a ripe tomato if you’re not careful.

2. Friends you can trust
Let’s face it.
The Eden Experience can get wild! The good kinda wild. The kinda wild that makes you want to go back every year.
But getting loose with the music, alcohol and whatever else you fancy does have the potential to go pear-shaped.
Ladies hang with your trusted friends and look out for each other.
These party environments are a 1,000 times safer than ‘jolling’ in the CBD, but that’s still no reason to go wandering off in the bushes on your own.

3. Something warm, something sexy
Look at these boys! Aren’t they just so sensible 🙂
Both have jackets and are ready for that sun to set.
The girls – well they’re playing it sexy for as long as they can.
The weather looks great for the weekend ahead, but it’s not quite summer yet so make sure you have some warm clothes packed, especially for dusk.
When that sun drops, the air will become noticeably colder. Plus, you can still look sexy with warm clothes on 😉

4. Party shoes
High heels. Stilettos… no chance unless you want to go stumbling about the dancefloor.
It’s outdoors girls! That means sensible shoes are a must!
Pumps are good, trainers are even better. Just wear shoes that you can walk comfortably in and more importantly – dance your asses off in!
‘cos that’s the point of Eden – dancing to awesome music all day and all night.

5. A designated driver and/or shuttle ticket
Party ‘till you drop!
Okay not quite, but you know what we mean.
Go and have the best time ever BUT remember; when the party is over you still need to get home safely and that means a reliable source of transport.
If you are going to drink, makes sure your driver takes it super easy!
In any case, the venue – Zevenwacht Wine Estate is not that far out of Cape Town so why not pool together with your friends and Uber/Bolt back from the event if you don’t feel safe with whoever’s driving?
