Vestax DJ gear may return they say
The Vestax DJ brand may not have disappeared from the tech landscape forever as we may all have expected after the news broke back in December 2014.
According to a new report by DJTechTools, although it is indeed true that Vestax DJ did officially declare bankruptcy, there’s reason enough to think that the brand will continue, possibly even with the same owners!
As published by DJTechTools, this is a press release from Mixware, the Vestax DJ distributor in the ‘States…
“The bankruptcy procedure was a necessary first step into the rebuilding of Vestax Japan and Vestax brand. Measures, engineering team, new product designs and financial support are already in place to support the rebuilding process and more information will be published by Vestax Japan during the course of the first semester 2015.”
“This process will definitely take some time before the first new Vestax products reach the worldwide markets but we’re confident that once again under the leadership of its original founders, Vestax will soon re-emerge as a strong innovative brand as it has always been.”
Some of the Vestax DJ products were really good. In fact it was a Vestax DJ controller – the VCI-100 that really was the first controller that worked seamlessly out-the-box.
One thing Vestax Dj gear always delivered and that was good quality. A return would be welcome.
