Check out the new T-Racks Sunset Sound Studio Reverb
The IK Multimedia T-Racks Sunset Sound Studio Reverb is a collaboration between the iconic Sunset Sound studios and IK Multimedia.
The new IK Multimedia T-Racks Sunset Sound Studio Reverb features all of the live rooms, chambers, iso booths and plate reverbs of the three iconic Sunset Sound studios.
The plugin is designed around a convolution reverb with a variety of impulse responses captured in the iconic spaces, using the original microphones and consoles from the studios.
IK recreated them using its unique Volumetric Response Modelling, an advanced hybrid convolution technique, to deliver the highest-quality reverb effects possible and ensure the results of T-RackS’s processing were virtually indistinguishable from recordings made in the real rooms.
Sunset Sound studios were known for classic recordings such as The Doors’ LA Woman, Toto’s Africa and Prince’s Purple Rain. Now you can capture the sound of the rooms in which these legendary recordings were made, in the comfort of your home studio.
The sound of hit records in your home studio…
Sunset Sound studios owner Paul Camarata notes, “For 60 years, the sound of our studios has been heard on hit records around the world. Now, we’re proud to be working with IK Multimedia to bring our famed sound to everyone’s recordings. Sunset Sound Studio Reverb really nails the essence of our distinct character.”
Alongside the selection of iconic rooms, the plugin also includes three analog reverb recreations. These three reverbs are based on the iconic Echoplate and EMT-140 plate reverbs and an AKG BX-20E spring reverb.
There are also several features for further experimentation and shaping the sound to suit whatever application you need. The plugin allows you to alter the decay time and pre-delay of the environment, alongside various filter, EQ and stereo imaging effects.
The plugin is set to retail at EUR €249 (Around R4100), however, they’re running an introductory special for EUR €149 (Around R2500).
