Streamliner shows you how your tracks will sound on streaming platforms
Streamliner from ADPTR Audio is a plugin that shows you exactly how your tracks will sound to end listeners, and how they might be affected when featured in playlists with other tracks on streaming platforms.
Streaming services are known to normalise the loudness of tracks on their platform to maintain some sort of consistency for the listener but this can be a little confusing to some.
Although, it shouldn’t be a problem if you have done your mixing correctly and your tracks have been professionally mastered.
Nonetheless, having a plugin handy as a reference in your DAW can be a great help.
Streamliner has a metering section with loudness, dynamics and true-peak meters.
The codec auditioning section also has loudness match function and an option to load a reference track to assist one in getting your mix tight and one can export tracks through the plugin at the different bit rates used by streaming platforms to further review how they sound.
This is also great for mastering engineers to send to clients.
