Native Instruments has marked their first Stems anniversary with special pricing on their Traktor Kontrol S5 and Kontrol D2 controllers.

The STEMS anniversary marks one year since Native Instruments launched their STEMS multi-track file format and now they’re offering some big discounts on their Kontrol S5 all-in-one DJ controller and Kontrol D2 modular controller, both which are designed to seamlessly control the STEMS files.
Of course one can now use STEMS files with the latest version of Traktor Pro without one of these units since Native Instruments released their 2.10.1 update, but nonetheless it works way better with these dedicated controllers.

This STEMS anniversary special offer is valid from April 4, 2016 until May 31, 2016, at participating retailers in South Africa.
The TRAKTOR PRO 2 license is included with the purchase of the TRAKTOR KONTROL S5 or TRAKTOR KONTROL D2 but during this offer it is not eligible for resale. TRAKTOR PRO 2 software is provided as a download following registration of the TRAKTOR hardware.
So existing Traktor Pro users won’t be able to buy the new controller and then sell the packaged software.
For new users though the software being included means straight plug and play performance right out the box.
