Serato DJ Pro updates with a host of new features

Serato DJ Pro is back with another update, they’ve incorporated some features that users have been asking about for years!

One of the most anticipated features we’re seeing being introduced in the Serato DJ Pro 2.0.3 update is the new “Practice Mode” which allows you to practice or prepare your sets, without having to plug any hardware in – something previously unavailable to Serato users. Practice mode opens up two track decks, a crossfader and other basic features needed to prep and to learn mixing.

The latest update for Serato DJ Pro now includes compatibility for 64-bit, this dramatically increases performance and reliability. 64-bit support lifts the cap on library sizes and allows for much more fluid searching and loading of tracks.

The Serato DJ Pro 2.0.3 update introduces a redesigned user-interface, incorporating their all-new “Performance Pad View”. The new layout mimics the performance pad and cue-point layout of most hardware controllers, making planning your routines much easier.

Any graphics and visual updates?

Serato DJ Pro has also been optimized for high resolution screens like Retina 4K and UHD, the interface is now scalable and offers Hi-DPI screen support. Serato have also improved their support system, improved in-app tooltips, shortcut keys and the ability to contact the support team or search the Serato knowledge base from within the software.

Serato DJ Pro 2.0.3 update also improves various performance and stability issues, most importantly is the metadata of M4A files should display correctly, and the CPU load meter no longer gets stuck.

Serato also recently announced in a press release, that they’re running a competition, all you need to do is download the latest update of Serato DJ Pro before 14th June 2018 to be entered.

Although they haven’t released much information to the public regarding the competition, hopefully more will be announced in the coming days.
