Rupert Neve Fidelice introduces precision D/A converter and more
The new range from Rupert Neve Fidelice – legendary studio sound for your home listening environment.
With over five decades of experience producing equipment for the world’s finest studios and concert halls, the Rupert Neve name is revered amongst audio professionals as one of the greats. The new range from Rupert Neve Fidelice is aimed at giving you that legendary audio quality for your home listening system.
The new range is made up of three devices – the Precision Headphone Amplifier, Precision Phono Amplifier and Precision Digital-To-Analog Converter, which I think could be equally at home in an audiophile’s home listening system or the home studio of a more discerning listener.
The Neve Fidelice Precision Headphone Amplifier is based on the original headphone output circuitry in the highly acclaimed 5060 console by Rupert Neve. The unit features three specifically calibrated inputs (a balanced XLR/TRS pair, unbalanced RCA pair and a 3.5mm stereo input), all housed in an aluminium and mahogany chassis.
Studio sound comes home…
The Fidelice Precision Digital-To-Analog Converter also features circuitry derived from original studio console designs with modern DACs capable of 384 KHz (remember CD quality is 44.1KHz) sample rate. Whether we can hear that difference is debatable, but it’s high-end stuff, nonetheless.
The Neve Fidelice Precision Phono Amplifier brings the sound of Rupert Neve to your vinyl collection, the circuits are designed around similar concept to some of the microphone preamps that made Rupert Neve’s name so renowned.
The unit features two independent signal paths for different gain stages “each painstakingly tailored for an enthralling listening experience with unparalleled accuracy, depth and expressiveness.” There’s also a switchable rumble filter to clean up the signal.
The entire Neve Fidelice range is made in the USA, with no compromise on construction and quality. All products will be available to ship by the end of September, with prices to be announced soon.
