Roland Zenbeats is a new cross platform music creation system

Roland Zenbeats – the new free to use cross platform music creation system for iOS, Android, Mac and Windows.

Roland recently acquired the award-winning Open Labs Stagelight app, which served as the foundation for the new Roland Zenbeats environment.

The application is designed to be intuitive and easy to use for everyone from professional engineers to beginner beatmakers, and it’s streamlined to work on various different screen sizes, from mobile phones and tablets to desktop computers.

Music production newcomers can use the built-in interactive tutorials to help them get going, and the application comes with a variety of built-in instruments and it features VST support in the paid version of Zenbeats.

So, the platform comes in three different versions, the “Free” version is perfect for beginners, featuring all the essentials you need to get started on your journey of music creation.

The “Unlock” version comes in two variations, one for mobile and one for desktop devices, this version unlocks all of the in-app features as well as more built-in instruments and VST/AU support, you also get store credit to add more content as you please.

The ultimate version…

Roland Zenbeats Ultimate is the flagship software package in the series, the Ultimate version unlocks every platform version across desktop and mobile devices and includes a Zenbeats StorePass which provides instant access to 40 preset packs, 40 loop packs, and sounds currently available.

• Zenbeats Free is obviously free
• Zenbeats Unlock is USD $14.99 (Around R220) for mobile and USD $49.99 for desktop (Around R750)
• Zenbeats Ultimate is USD $149.99 (Around R2200), however they are currently offering a limited-time introductory special at USD $99 (Around R1500)
