Roland introduces a TR-808 VST and TR-909
Finally, there will be an official TR-808 VST and TR-909 VST from Roland music corporation.
Despite so many reincarnations and software clones over the years to legacy gear, the 808 and 909 VSTs will only now be an official thing from Roland, available to Roland Cloud subscribers.
The TR-808 VST and TR-909 have been reproduced in software format based on the original circuits and design specs as the originals.
Other software versions of famous Roland gear, also available on the Roland Cloud include the he SH-101 and Juno-106.
They have also just introduced a new VST instrument called the SRX Orchestra which they’ve based on their SRX line of expansion boards available in the 2000’s.
Roland say they will also introduce other packs this year from the SRX range such as drum kits, concert piano and brass ensembles.
