RODECasterPro 2.0 Firmware update adds a ton of new features
RODECasterPro 2.0 Firmware update restructures existing features and introduces a heap of new features to streamline the production process.
The new RODECasterPro 2.0 Firmware update is the direct result of listening to user feedback to create the ideal system for all users.
The latest update introduces the ability to fine-tune and configure a lot more settings directly on the unit itself, without the need of a computer.
The update introduces several new features that change the way the sound-pads work.
Now you can store up to eight banks of eight sound to recall at any moment, this is fantastic for studios who may have several different podcasts or users using a single system. Simply switch banks and all your usual sounds and settings are ready to go.
They’ve also introduced a new play/pause setting, which is great for firing off longer clips and you don’t want to restart them every time.
The companion app now allows you to dump settings to and from your device, again making it a great device for studios with multiple users or podcast shows. The app can also function in real-time, allowing you to configure settings on-the-fly.
New broadcast ready features…
The firmware update introduces additional solo/mute modes, now you can configure how the solo/mute works, whether they’re in true-PFL listen mode and various other features.
There are some additional automatic fail-safes built-in to reduce unwanted feedback loops, and you now have the ability to bypass your master output volume control – great for making sure you don’t mistakenly change the volume while on the air.
The new RODECasterPro 2.0 Firmware update introduces “podcast transfer mode” allowing you to transfer your podcast recording directly from the device’s SD card to your computer.
