Reloop RP-8000 MK2 – most advanced DJ turntable ever made?
The Reloop RP-8000 MK2 is designed with Serato DJ Pro in mind, however it works with a variety of software.
The new Reloop RP-8000 MK2 bridges the analog and digital worlds by offering everything you need in a turntable alongside some ground-breaking features to appeal to modern DJs and DVS users. The turntable features eight performance pads which can be assigned to cue-points, samples, loops and other performance effects. You also have the ability to create custom user modes with various preset functions. The Reloop RP-8000 MK2 even features a mode allowing you to play the turntable’s platter speed to a chromatic scale, using the performance pads.
The new Reloop RP-8000 MK2 features an LCD display for pitch, BPM, scales and various other settings from within Serato, there’s also an encoder with various features from octave shifting to seamlessly browsing your track library. These features represent unparalleled integration for DVS DJs, everything you need is built directly into the turntable. Multiple units can be set up as master/slave as not to take up all your USB ports.
Reloop Elite DVS mixer complements the RP-8000 MK2
Alongside the new turntable, Reloop have announced a new fully-fledged DVS mixer to complement the decks. The new Reloop Elite is a 2-channel DJ mixer designed to work seamlessly with both Serato DJ Pro and the new Reloop RP-8000 MK2 turntables. The Reloop Elite has a USB hub to function as the master device, with up to two Reloop RP-8000 MK2 turntables. It has a dual integrated audio interface allowing for two computers to be connected simultaneously.
The Reloop Elite features 16 performance pads and dual FX section for control Serato’s built-in FX. There are also two OLED displays for various information from Serato.
The Reloop RP-8000 MK2 are set to retail at EUR €599 (Around R10k excl. duties) and the Reloop Elite for EUR €1249 (Around R20k excl. duties).
