Propellerhead Reason 10.2 announced with public beta open
Propellerhead Reason 10.2 update is coming soon, and the developers are inviting the public to participate in the beta.
Only three months after the last update, Propellerhead Reason sees another big announcement. The developers have announced that the Reason 10.2 update is on the way and will be released soon. A large amount of the new features in the upcoming update are the result of user feedback on Reason 10 and 10.1, so the developers have decided to open the beta testing for the 10.2 update to the public. Now you can have your say for future feature additions that you want to see in Propellerhead Reason 10.2 or later updates.
So far, they have announced some key features to expect in the 10.2 update, view and edit MIDI across multiple lanes, adjust multiple mixer faders simultaneously and zoom-adaptive grids amongst other nifty workflow features.
The developers have also announced that they are working hard on fine-tuning the VST performance within Propellerhead Reason, which will come in a separate stability update in the future, because there is still extensive testing to be done there.
When can we expect the update, and how do we get involved in the beta?
“These improvements represent our ongoing commitment to your music-making, making it faster, easier and more natural. We continue to listen and learn from you and your needs, further enhancing Reason’s workflow experience. Reason 10.2 will be available as a free update to Reason 10 on September 26th, after some thorough public beta testing.” said Mattias Häggström Gerdt, Propellerhead Reason Product Manager.
