PreSonus has just announced the newest addition to their best-selling line of studio monitors, the new Eris Bluetooth series features the same recording studio audio quality that PreSonus has become known to deliver – in a compact, wireless form-factor.
The new PreSonus monitors come in two options, a pair of 3.5” Bluetooth enabled monitors or a pair of 4.5” Bluetooth enabled monitors – both with integrated volume controls and a two-band EQ.
They feature both balanced TRS and unbalanced RCA and stereo 3.5mm inputs, ideal for a variety of analog sources – from audio interfaces to mobile devices.
Both options are equipped with Bluetooth as the name suggests, but the benefit of being able to choose an analog input if you need makes it great for music enthusiasts, content creators and producers on a budget.
One thing to note, the new Eris Bluetooth monitors are not bi-amped, meaning they have an independent amplifier per speaker cabinet – whereas some of the higher-end studio monitors have a dedicated amp for the tweeter and another for the woofer.
