Plugin Alliance – The new gold standard in plugin subscriptions
Plugin Alliance moves their huge range of highly renowned plugins to a subscription-based service, offering thousands of dollars’ worth of plugins.
Plugin Alliance has been well renowned in the industry for years, offering plugins from A-list companies such as SSL, Focusrite, Ampeg, Brainworx, Shadow Hills, Mäag, Diezel, SPL, Unfiltered Audio and many more. With over 100 options to choose from and an array of such highly renowned plugins, one could spend thousands of dollars on some essential plugins.
Plugin Alliance has just announced the MEGA bundle, which they’re calling “the new gold standard in plugin subscriptions”. For just USD $24.99 (Around R360) per month, you get access to over 100 A-list plugins. They’re also offering a promo plan for annual prepaid subscriptions for USD $249.99 (Around R3600).
Why I think subscription works in this case…
This may seem a little bit on the pricey side, however, keep in mind the combined retail price of all of the combined plugin will set you back somewhere in the region of USD $20 000. Stuff like the Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor and Elysia range are very highly renowned by mastering engineers, which is a task most of us producers aren’t doing all the time. Subscription services give us the ability to have access to these high-end plugins only when we need them.
Some of the other highly renowned plugins included in the Plugin Alliance MEGA Bundle are a personal favourite of mine, Dmitry Sches Thorn, amongst some other highly rated plugins such as Unfiltered Audio SpecOps, Triad, BYOME and almost the entire range from Brainworx.
Here’s what Plugin Alliance had to say about the move to subscription services, “Stop chasing the next best flash-sale or deal and stop paying extra for upgrades or additional services. In fact, signing up for the MEGA Bundle will even give you access to EVERY NEW PLUGIN we will add to the MEGA bundle in the future. At the same time, we and the multiple development teams from Brainworx, Unfiltered Audio, fiedler audio, Lindell, Schoeps and more will be able to properly maintain all the plugins for years to come, without charging you for technical updates or added future features.”
