Pioneer’s HDJ-X headphones endorsed by Carl Cox, Roger Sanchez and more
Pioneer’s HDJ-X headphones is a game changer!
Pioneer is going overboard regarding headphones, with its new HDJ-X line supplying DJs with everything they need to do what they do best behind the decks.
Apart from the three new models boasting “super durability” and ultra-comfort, it’s most impressive feature is the headphones’ capability of frequencies never before achieved by any pair of DJ headphones before.
The HDJ-X10 has a range of 5hz to 40hz, thanks to a new 50mm driver, they’ll deliver precise channel separation and greater separation of the rich bass tones and crisp mid-to-high frequencies.
Across the board from the more affordable HDJ-X5, to the mid-range HDJ-7 and of course the dank HDJ-10, the 3 ranges have “super durability,” having gone through US military shock compliance tests.
Home in on these headphones
The HDJX-10 model’s leather ear pads and headband cushion have a Nano coating, making it sweat-resistant and less likely to deteriorate.
Other features of the HDJ-X range include swivel mechanisms, detachable cables, and to some degree, replaceable mechanisms.
A word from Carl Cox:
“The first time that I put the HDJ-X10 on, I could feel that these headphones were very special, the weight and the feel once they were on my head, I felt very at home with them. And then the sound, the depth, quality and bass deepness, is all I will ever need in a headphone, and the HDJ-X has it all. Now, I cannot use anything else, this is it.”
Pioneer’s HDJ-X headphone range will be available from October with the HDJ-X10 priced at $349, the HDJ-X7 at $199, and the HDJ-X5 at $99.
