Pioneer WeDJ is a new iPad DJ app

Pioneer WeDJ is a brand new DJ app for iPad just released by Pioneer DJ.

It gets better though. They’ve also released the DDJ-WeGO4 2-channel Dj controller for iPad which will work seamlessly with the Pioneer WeDJ app.

The WeDJ means anybody who owns an iPad can now mix some beats anytime, anyplace. The colour, animated interface can control your iTunes track collection with a bunch of DJ features and FX to add some spice and extra enjoyment to your listening pleasure.

The Pioneer WeDJ sync button will keep the tracks in time and an Auto gain feature ensures that they all play at the same volume. If you’re jamming a few tunes at your dinner party and need a break simply put the Automix feature on and the Pioneer WeDJ will mix for you.

The Pioneer WeDJ is available in the App Store at an introductory price of €2.99 until 30^th September 2016, and will be available at the regular price of €4.99 from 1^st October 2016.

Now if you want to take your iPad mixing to the next level and realize just how much fun it can be to spin through your iTunes collection Pioneer have simultaneously announced the DDJ-WeGO4.

The DDJ-WeGO4 is aimed squarely at the beginner DJ looking for a solid piece of Pioneer DJ gear to get their mix on.

Firstly the DDJ-WeGO4 connects to an iPad with a single Lightning cable and together with the aforementioned Pioneer WeDJ app you’ll be able to mix your iTunes collection seamlessly with this 2-channel controller.

For laptop users a single USB cable connects you and the included license key for Pioneer’s professional DJ performance application for Mac/PC, rekordbox dj (worth €139), comes bundled with the DDJ-WeGO4, so you’re pretty much set to go.

The DDJ-WeGO4 features all the tactile controls you need to learn to mix seamlessly, including play/cue buttons, EQ knobs, tempo sliders, a crossfader and jog wheels for scratching, as well as professional FX. .

The DDJ-WeGO4 is available from September at an SRP of €319 (R 5,000 excl. import duties)
