Pioneer Pro Audio XPRS for mobile DJs
The new Pioneer Pro Audio XPRS series is designed with the mobile DJ in mind and they’ve just added two more speakers to the range.
The two new models are the XPRS10; a powered 10” loudspeaker and the XPRS115S; a powered 15” subwoofer.
The XPRS10 features two onboard inouts, a combo line input and a combo mic/line input. There are 4 onboard EQ settings to further tweak the sound depending on your setup and environment.
The XPRS115S includes two combo line inputs and you can adjust the sub’s frequency range using the four-way crossover switch.
The XPRS series sports energy efficient Powersoft class D amplifiers and are enclosed in 15mm birch plywood for a dynamic sound, they say that works for all musical genres.
The Pioneer Pro Audio XPRS series is aimed at the moble DJ market as it is compact and portable. The two latest additions to the range are in fact the smallest mid and sub respectively so it seems Pioneer have identified portability as a key criteria to completing their range.
A set of the 10” midrange XPRS10’s coupled to a pair of the XPRS115S subwoofers will make a really nice power pack of portability for small to medium size events.
