Pioneer DJ’s release of the HDJ-X series of over-ear headphones took the DJ world by storm because of their incredibly sturdy build quality alongside distinguished audio quality. The HDJ-X series introduced Pioneer DJ’s headphones to the US Military Standard shock-test, as DJs we know that headphones take a beating gig-after-gig and the shock-test was introduced to ensure durability for years to come.
The new Pioneer HDJ-S7 follows suit, they’re also US Military Standard shock-tested for superior durability, and feature a 40mm high-definition driver able to deliver crystal clear frequencies from 5hz to 40 kHz. The HDJ-S7 is built with an incredibly compact design, they’re lightweight and fold-up very small and ship with a flat carry-case. This makes the Pioneer HDJ-S7 the perfect companion for touring and travelling DJs, offering you the same Pioneer-grade audio you’re used to, in a new smaller form-factor.
The Pioneer HDJ-S7 feature swivel-mechanisms, making them comfortable to monitor in various configurations, and anti-slip so they don’t fall off while you’re monitoring with one ear. The comfortable headband and ear-pads are replaceable, to keep them fresh.

Pioneer DJ’s HDJ-S7 features replaceable cables, as we all know that’s usually the first thing to kick the bucket under the strenuous condition of the professional DJ. In the box, the HDJ-S7 ships with 2 cables, a straight and coiled style – to find your best fit.
The extra carry case is a great added bonus, as it will keep your headphones protected, and cleverly Pioneer incorporated storage space for USB drives and SD cards, something that DJs in this day and age are bound to be carrying.
