Pioneer DJ XDJ-RX2 all-in-one controller – new model
Pioneer DJ seems to have new updates to their their products on a weekly basis at the moment, the latest being the XDJ-RX2.
The Pioneer DJ XDJ-RX2 is a top of the line all-in-one DJ controller which can be used in multiple ways.
We reviewed the original XDJ-RX when it came out and were suitably impressed. The new revision adds some awesome new features.

The XDJ-RX2 has taken features straight from Pioneer’s flasgship NXS2 set-up making it as close to playing of CDJ2000NX2 and DJM900NXS2 as one can get.
Sporting a 7-inch touch screen in the centre, both waveforms from both decks will display simultaneously beneath one another along with all the detailed info one sees on the NX2 products.
Useful features include a full QWERTY keyboard for typing in track names aside from the large rotary selector and Needle Search.
Each deck has eight large, multicoloured Performance Pads for tactile control over Hot Cues, Beat Loop, Slip Loop and Beat Jump, and you can get even more creative with the Beat FX and Sound Colour FX.
The XDJ-RX2 can be used to control a laptop and Pioneer DJ’s rekordbox DJ software or via USB.
The XDJ-RX2 comes bundled with a licence key for rekordbox dj.
They will also be shipping a limited number of the XDJ-RX2 systems with a licence key for rekordbox video – the Plus Pack that enables you to bring videos into your performances when you play with rekordbox dj.
The XDJ-RX2 will be available from September 2017 at an SRP of €1699 (R 28,000) which is about the same price as the original XDJ-RX.
