Numark NS7III flagship controller arrives in SA

The NS7III is Numark’s flagship DJ controller and it has landed in South Africa.

Distributors for Numark in Africa, Viva Afrika, have confirmed that all stockists of Numark products throughout South Africa should have the NS7III or at least be able to order it in.

We first announced the NS7III back in January 2015 when it was unveiled at NAMM 2015.

Laptop DJs who want a full featured unit that successfully emulates the tradition of vinyl mixing will no doubt be interested in the NS7III. This DJ controller is the perfect professional tool to have all the advantages of digital DJing at one’s fingertips without losing the true ethos of being a DJ.

NS7III Key features

The NS7III is a 100% professional DJ controller and sports the type of features that seasoned and serious DJs will immediately appreciate. These include;

Three high resolution screens
Stacked parallel waveforms on the central screen for visual mixing
Two variable-torque motorized platters with high-resolution MIDI tracking
Genuine vinyl experience when mixing
Akai performance pads
Touch-sensitive knobs

These are just some of the key features. It goes without saying that the NS7III is packed with every conceivable pro feature and is built with premium components.

The 3 screens will no doubt be the biggest attraction for many though since this means a dedicated middle screen with parallel waveforms gives you a 100% accurate display of your tracks playing out. This also means that the two deck screens can be left to display all the key parameters to enhance performance related actions.

The platters are the only motorized ones on the market. With a MIDI resolution of 3600 ticks these are the only platters that can successfully emulate a turntable when it comes to torque. They also include genuine vinyl discs and real felt slipmats for that perfect tactile feel and control.

There are 29 capacitive touch-sensitive knobs for filter, gain, EQ and effects. You can adjust the sound to be exactly the way you need it, for any setting, any situation. The 16 multi-function backlit MPC® performance pads from Akai Professional allow you to add loops, launch samples, and control hot cues to add to your performance. The multi-function touch strip can be used for dynamic FX control and track search operation.
