Novation Circuit Groovebox gets major update
The Novation Circuit Groovebox gets a major update and some of the improvements include sample import and synth editor to the all in one instrument.
These new tools expand the Novation Circuit Groovebox capabilities with a new customised version.
Circuit was launched last year, and was quite popular thanks to a unique design that allows even a newbie producer the ability to lay down a track with drums, bassline and melody in a matter of minutes.
The Novation Circuit Groovebox has four major improvements to the compact device: a firmware update, librarian, editor and sample import capabilities, and all of these are freely available from the Novation website.
When you make use of sample import you will be able to drag and drop sounds from your computer to create your own synth and percussion sounds, with 64 slots totalling 60 seconds of audio.
The Novation Circuit Groovebox new editor tool allows you to shape the Circuit’s synth sounds and customise the instrument’s eight macro knobs. This new version runs standalone on PC as well as Mac, unlike the earlier version.
It also includes a librarian for managing your sessions and backing them up to the cloud. The firmware update allows MIDI notes from other controllers to be recorded and syncs up automatically with Ableton.
This Novation Circuit Groovebox new update is the latest innovation from the Novation, during last month they announced their new app-centric brand called Blocs.
