Nord Piano Monitors announced as they enter loudspeaker market
The new Nord Piano Monitors were exclusively engineered for optimal reproduction of the classic sounds in the Nord Piano library.
The Nord Piano Monitors feature dual inputs, a stereo balanced input for your keyboard and an additional aux input for other gear, laptop or mobile device. The new speakers are designed to give all Piano-orientated keyboard players, the optimal listening experience for their digital Piano. With specific attention paid to the nuances of the high-end Piano sounds in the Nord Library, the new Nord Piano Monitors were developed side by side with Nord’s entire range, to maintain the ultimate clarity in audio reproduction of the sounds that Nord is renowned for.
Nord worked in partnership with Audio Pro for the development of the Nord Piano Monitors, Audio Pro is renowned in the Audiophile market having manufactured active speakers since the 70s. These don’t have the same clinical linear response as a high-end pair of studio monitors, however much the same as a Guitar amp’s response shapes the overall tone – the realistic sound of a piano is due in-part to sympathetic resonances in the wood of the piano itself. These were designed to deliver those nuances as accurately as possible.
Get the speakers to optimal height….
The new Nord Piano Monitors have unique optional brackets which tilt at the perfect angle to give Piano players the ultimate listening experience while still maintaining a fairly small footprint. The brackets are mountable on a standard microphone stand, or you can mount the brackets directly onto the back of a Nord Piano 4.
A pair of Nord Piano Monitors will set you back around USD $699 (Around R10k excl. duties), which seems pricey however it may just be a great investment to make the most of the Nord Piano that you’re planning on getting.
