New Hybrid powered mixers have an option for everyone
If you are looking for an all-in-one solution to mixing and powering your speaker, the Hybrid Powered Mixers have an option for you.
Hybrid have added four new options to their range of affordable powered mixers, with varying feature-sets to suit a variety of needs. First up is the new Hybrid ML1260 PDUU, it features eight microphone inputs with 48v phantom power and an additional two stereo channels. Each of the microphone channels has an FX send, and all the channels feature a three-band EQ.
Next up in the range of new Hybrid powered mixers is the ML860 PDUU, a smaller version of the aforementioned mixer with only four microphone channels and much of the same features all-round. Both options feature a USB port allowing you to record directly to a flash drive, or playback backtracks. Both of the new Hybrid powered mixers feature 16 DSP effects and various parameters to control them. They also both feature internal power amplifiers capable of putting out two channels of 300 Watts RMS each.
Ideal users for the new Hybrid powered mixers…
These new Hybrid powered mixers are ideal for small bands and solo performers, having the entire heart of your PA system in a single unit is super convenient for mobility. The stereo 300 Watts RMS that these units provide is ample for a pair of 12” or 15” passive speakers and will provide enough coverage for most smaller event needs.
The next two powered mixers in the range are the M12218 DBT and M6180 BT, we’re still waiting for exact specs on those ones, however I’m guessing it’s a 12 and 6 channel mixer with slightly watered-down features compared to the ML1260 PDUU and ML860 PDUU.
The suggested retail pricing on the new range is as follows:
- Hybrid ML1260 PDUU – R4820
- Hybrid ML860 PDUU – R4125
- Hybrid M12218 DBT – R3842
- Hybrid M6180 BT – R1992
