Mixvibes Cross DJ 4 out now with streaming
It’s no secret that the Mixvibes Cross DJ platform has taken leaps-and-bounds lately, the next step is streaming integration.
Cross DJ 4 was recently in the headlines after the platform integrated several new features to compete with some of the top DJ software platforms on the market. From digital vinyl compatibility and video mixing to full custom MIDI capabilities and to compatibility with the Ableton Link protocol. The official release had not gone public yet, although the pre-release gave users the ability to try the Beta and suggest changes for the public launch.
Mixvibes Cross DJ 4 is officially out and introduces some new features that we had not yet been aware of, they’ve gone with the tide and integrated streaming services such as Soundcloud. They’ve also incorporated a new script technology – giving users a fully customizable performance system, not just custom MIDI mapping.
Some of the other new features in Mixvibes Cross DJ 4…
They’ve redesigned the interface to be very intuitive and easy-to-use, with a customizable layout and up to four players visible with parallel waveforms. Each of the four decks can have their own set of three effects pre-loaded, as well as a set of master effects to add on top. The interface has also been built around compatibility with touchscreens, and they’ve added a quick MIDI learn feature.
For users who don’t have a MIDI controller yet, the new Mixvibes Cross DJ 4 has a remote app for both iOS and Android, allowing you to control the software from your mobile device.
Cross DJ 4 comes in two flavours, a regular and Pro version. The Pro version adds the ability to mix and sample video, create your own unique effects from scratch, use DVS systems, they’re even adding a VST plugin that you can load directly into your DAW.
Mixvibes Cross DJ 4 is available now for USD $69.90 (Around R1000) while the Pro version goes for USD $149.90 (Around R2200). Cross DJ 3 users can upgrade to Cross DJ 4 for USD $39.90 (Around R600) or Cross DJ Pro 4 for USD $69.90 (Around R1000).
