Mixed In Key Studio Edition – Advanced key-detection for your DAW
Introducing the all-new Mixed In Key Studio Edition – The Future of project and sample Key-Detection for your DAW.
Mixed In Key was first introduced as a software DJing platform, offering a unique take on mixing. The core focus of the original Mixed In Key platform was harmonic DJ mixing. Up until this point DJs were mainly focusing on beat-matching and other traditional techniques, Mixed In Key took things a step further and gave DJs the opportunity to match the musical key of the tracks they’re playing. This was the dawn of harmonic mixing.
Fast forward several years, and the DJ and music industry are changing. There has been a push towards DJs focusing on creating their own productions, remixes and mashups – while a lot of these techniques are possible inside most DJ software applications, what about those looking to work in a studio setting – in a linear DAW?
Introducing Mixed In Key Studio Edition, it’s a VST plugin designed around their well-renowned key-detection algorithm. Now you can easily detect the root note and scale of material within your DAW, from samples and other audio material to synth presets and various other sources.
Take the guesswork out of using samples…
Mixed In Key Studio Edition helps you create your own unique mashups, put your acapela and other samples in key with the rest of your track, and speed up your overall workflow without ever leaving your DAW. Analyse your favourite tracks for inspiration or remix or pick up the root key of your vocal recording to punch into Melodyne or Autotune.
Mixed In Key Studio Edition is available for Windows and Mac OS X, it’s officially supported by Ableton Live, FL Studio and Logic Pro, although it does work on most of the other popular DAW platforms. Mixed In Key Studio Edition is going for USD $58 (Around R850).
