Mix:Analog and Elysia team up to expand the online analog catalogue
Mix:Analog is a unique online platform allowing you to process audio through a variety of legendary analog studio gear.
The platform offers true analog processing to any user, wherever you are in the world.
The service allows for real time control over the analog devices that you’re streaming to and a choice of some really sought-after studio gear.
Most engineers dream of owning a rack full of 1176’s, Pulteq style EQs, Fairchild compressors and more however the price and maintenance on the gear makes it somewhat unrealistic for project studios.
Mix:Analog is the solution for those users looking for authentic analog processing but can’t justify sinking thousands of dollars into hardware gear.
Legendary hardware manufacturers Elysia have just teamed up with them to start introducing their high-end audio processors into the intuitive web service.
They’re starting off with the Elysia Museq however I’m sure we will see some more of their line-up integrated soon.
How the system works?
Mix:Analog allows you to schedule sessions beforehand, you’re able to monitor your sessions and change parameters in real time, each of the analog processors have presets which you can recall through the web interface – this is great for A/B comparing a couple of setups on a single device.
Then you can simply bounce and download the processed files to load into the DAW of your choice.
“After extensive listening and comparison tests in our studio, the “Online museq” has to be confirmed without compromise the full fidelity and transparency of our “original”.
Thus, the partnership with Mix:Analog gives users the great possibility to test our hardware comfortably in their own studio and become acquainted with the sound of our product family.” says Ruben Tilgner, CEO of Elysia.
Mix:Analog offers a free 30-day trial, thereafter the pricing depends on how many sessions you schedule and the gear you want to use.
