Colourful new limited-edition KORG nanoSeries 2 announced

To commemorate ten years of KORG nanoSeries, KORG have announced a colourful limited edition run of their iconic MIDI controllers.

The KORG nanoSeries has long been a very popular choice for live performers and travelling musicians, the incredibly small form-factor alongside the vast feature-set is almost unmatched. To celebrate ten years since the conception of the original KORG nanoSeries, they’re releasing two vibrant new colour options for the controllers.

The first option is BLYL (Blue and Yellow) which is designed to mimic the aesthetic of KORG’s highly-acclaimed Gadget software for iOS and OSX, if you use multiple platforms this may be a great opportunity to have distinguishable controllers for the different platforms.  The second option in the limited-edition series is ORGR, which is apparently supposed to be Orange and Green, however my eyes are seeing Orange and Yellow – so I’m not sure about that. That being said, I like this colour scheme, it’s designed to mimic the aesthetic of a large portion of the DAWs on the market.

Not just fancy colours, there’s more…

The limited-edition KORG nanoSeries2 controllers are not just fancy colours, they also come packed with some added extras in the of discounts on KORG content. KORG have also announced a range of dedicated cases for the limited-edition KORG nanoSeries2 controllers to match the colour schemes. The cases are made by Sequenz and are constructed out of EVA, an incredibly durable and lightweight material, perfect to protect your new limited-edition KORG nanoSeries2 controller on the road.

The retail pricing on the limited-edition series is as follows:
KORG nanoKEY2 BLYL/ORGR – USD $55 (Around R850 excl. duties)
KORG nanoPAD2 BLYL/ORGR – USD $65 (Around R1000 excl. duties)
KORG nanoKONTROL2 BLYL/ORGR – USD $65 (Around R1000 excl. duties)

For more information, check out KORG’s website.

For the cases check out Sequenz’s website.

KORG is distributed by Tuerk Music in South Africa, visit their website to find your nearest stockist.
