Korg Volca FM – brand new – watch the video
The KORG Volca FM will be the next instrument to be released in the exceptionally popular Volca range by KORG.
KORG Volca FM was first shown of at NAMM and now they have released the official product video for the synthesiser.
As the name suggests, the FM stands for of frequency modulation and this is a first for the Volca range which has traditionally been based on analogue and sampled-based engines. Frequency modulation is a digital synthesis process made famous by the Yamaha DX range of synthesizers and more recently in the software realm by the FM8 from native Instruments, an exceptionally popular softsynth.
But nothing beats an easy on the pocket piece of hardware and that’s the whole point of the Volca range – to offer KORG’s famous sound quality in a small, price-friendly package.
