KORG Electribe 2 unveiled in video teaser
A video teaser for the new KORG Electribe 2 has just been released and they say the new version is the “fastest and most intuitive way to make beats” and includes one the most requested user features; a pattern chain function.
KORG Electribe 2 New Features
- One level undo
- Pattern chain function
- Original value indicator
- New patterns (over 200) to inspire users
Aside from the pattern chain feature, one-level undo and onscreen original value indicators are key improvements.
The pattern chain feature, as the name suggest, allows one to string together a series of patterns to create full tracks. KORG suggests there are ‘minimal limitations’ to this.
The one level undo on the Electribe 2 is a quick and easy way to undo a recording by pressing a series of knobs and the original value indicator shows you on the panel where the original position of each knob setting was for the pattern. This is very useful especially in live performance situations when you may have tweaked something a little too far and want to get the original sound back.
The Electribe 2 also sports 200+ free bonus KORG patterns all available for download from the KORG website and a brand new V2.0 operating system.
Sampler
Aside from the new Electribe 2 there’s also a new Electribe Sampler with pretty much the same new enhancements except of course it’s a sampler not a synth.
Both Music Production Stations will be available worldwide in August and they’re expected to cost $ 399,99 each. We estimate a South African price of about R 6,500.00
