iZotope RX7 advanced audio repair system awarded Engineering Emmy
iZotope RX7 – The highly renowned audio repair software suite has just been awarded an Engineering Emmy.
iZotope RX has long been a staple in the post-production industry, offering a suite of tools specifically designed for solving common audio problems in recording music, dialogue and various other applications. Whether it’s clicks, pops, hum or noise that you’re looking to remove in your source audio – RX is the all-in-one solution.
iZotope first achieved an Emmy award for RX3 back in 2013, and since then over 20 new useful tools have been added to the growing arsenal of modules within RX.
iZotope RX7 sees a ton of new features that extend the usability of the repair suite into the music production sphere.
The new Music Rebalance feature allows you to change the mix of sounds within a stereo track – this allows you to remaster old recordings or completely isolate a single instrument or vocal element for remix purposes.
iZotope RX7 also sees various new features suited to the post-production industry, most notable are 7.1 surround and Dolby Atmos support.
Here is what iZotope had to say about the achievement…
“The entire team at iZotope is very pleased and honoured to earn this accolade for our latest version of RX by the Television Academy,” said iZotope Chief Executive Officer, Mark Ethier. “Since its original release, we have made a number of advancements in machine learning that have helped the software evolve to become the gold standard in audio repair. We are hugely thankful to the RX user community as we could not have earned this recognition without their continuous input and feedback.”
iZotope RX7 comes in three variants – Elements (Retails for USD $129 or R2000), Standard (Retails for USD $399 or R6000) and Advanced (Retails for USD $1199 or R18k).
