iZotope Nectar 3 – “The most sophisticated set of vocal tools”
The most advanced vocal processing plugin just got more advanced than ever before, iZotope Nectar 3.
iZotope Nectar 3 sees the addition of five new modules alongside a new assistive audio feature, similar to the one we saw in Nectar Elements. The vocal assistant uses machine learning technology to create an intuitive starting point to tweak your vocal sound from. iZotope have added a new auto leveling mode, that makes sure your input is at the nominal level for processing and a new Dynamic EQ that automatically sculpts your vocal sound in real time.
iZotope Nectar 3 adds the Breath Control system as seen in iZotope’ s “Industry Standard” RX 7 audio repair and restoration suite alongside Celemony’s Melodyne technology. Twelve of the existing vocal processing effects modules within Nectar 3 have also had a revamp, with new modes being added to the delay, saturation and compression and new interactive GUI’s for each module.
The iZotope Vocal Chain production bundle…
“Vocals are the definitive focal point of music,” says Gerry Caron, iZotope’s Chief Product Officer. “We’ve added new, powerful assistive audio technology to help to create the ideal starting point for a vocal, place it in the mix, and communicate with other iZotope plugins.”
iZotope Nectar 3 also introduces inter-plugin communication between other iZotope plugins, this is great if you’re using Neutron 2’s “Visual Mixer”.
Alongside the launch of iZotope Nectar 3, iZotope have also announced a new Vocal Chain Bundle which is a set of tools aimed at all aspects of vocal production. The bundle contains iZotope Nectar 3, VocalSynth 2 and RX Elements and it retails for USD $499 (Around R7000) with an introductory price of USD $399 (Around R6000).
The individual Nectar 3 plugin retails for USD $249 (Around R3600), and they’re also doing an introductory special on it for USD $199 (Around R3000).
