Interface 2 Rekordbox DJ DVS Soundcard announced by Pioneer DJ
Rekordbox DJ, the fully-fledged DJ version of Pioneer DJ’s popular music management software has just gotten a massive shot in the arm with the announcement of the Interface 2 DJ soundcard.
The significance of the new Interface 2 is that Rekordbox DJ users can pretty much use any mixer if they have this soundcard.
Up to now one would have to use a DJ mixer with a certified sound card to connect direct to Rekordbox.
The Interface 2 changes that. You can now arrive at any gig armed with your laptop and Interface 2 soundcard and be able to connect and perform.
In a nutshell, Rekordbox DJ, Rekordbox DVS and the new sound card is now 100% direct competition to Traktor Pro Scratch and Serato DJ with their DVS system.

Expected retail is $ 299(R 4,000 excl. import duties) and these should start shipping from end of July. Included in the price, aside from the audio interface is Rekordbox DJ, DVS licenses and control vinyl.
