Infected Mushroom and Polyverse Wider plugin comes to Apple iOS
Infected Mushroom and Polyverse Wider is an easy-to-use free widening plugin that’s now available on iOS mobile devices.
Infected Mushroom have teamed up with Polyverse again to release their awesome free widening plugin on the Apple iOS platform.
The Polyverse Wider plugin derives the widening algorithms from their highly acclaimed Manipulator plugin – it features an incredibly easy-to-use interface, with literally one parameter.
The issue with most widening plugins is mono-compatibility and phasing, however, this plugin was designed with that in mind – it uses unique all-pass and comb filter algorithms to achieve a wider stereo image without affecting the phase or mono-compatibility drastically.
It’s an incredibly handy plugin, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used it, and I’m sure it will be the same for all those mobile music producers.
Where to get it…
The Polyverse Wider desktop version is free, and that hasn’t changed with the new iOS version.
It comes as an AUv3, meaning it’s compatible with Garageband, FL Studio, Steinberg Cubasis and much more.
It’s available immediately at the Apple App store and to commemorate the launch, Polyverse is offering a promotion on all of their other plugins. Up until 30th October 2019, you can grab any of the Polyverse plugins for 25% off.
Like I mentioned above, the plugin is incredibly easy-to-use, I’ve personally featured it in several tutorials and use it myself all the time.
It’s just a single parameter, a wideness control that allows you to boost the signal to 200%. The plugin was developed in partnership with Infected Mushroom, so if you’re a fan of their stuff or if you’re just looking for a simple widening plugin – be sure to check this out.
