VIDEO: Headphone Jack for iPhone 7
The secret hack to getting the headphone jack for the new iPhone 7 is an almost painful video to watch. It is especially nerve wrecking when the dude not only cranks the phone in a terrible looking clamp to keep it in place but then also proceeds to drill a hole.
The narrator makes use of a drill and a 3.5mm drill piece to create a hole in the spot that the headphone jack used to be. [Future] iPhone 7 users are pretty disappointed that their next upgrade has to come in the form of a smart phone that lacks the familiar headphone jack. One jack that we have all come to know and love for its universal size.
Don’t watch if you love your iPhone
TechRax wanted to offer a little DIY hope to all of you doubting whether or not you will be getting the new iPhone 7.
The best part is right at the end once the awful drill hole has been made. The narrator places his trusty white iPhone headphones into the home made headphone jack; he presses play on some music on the phone and it simply blares out of the regular phone speaker.
The video may be hilarious and quite expensive to make (thanks to ruining a brand new iPhone) but take it from us, don’t try this at home.
And if you are still into a headphone jack on your smartphone then you probably should just forego the iPhone 7. Hang on to the iPhone six for a little longer or heaven forbid, you could always go Android.
Check out the parody video below, but be warned this is not for sensitive viewers and especially not if you’re about to rush out and buy an iPhone 7. Put your iPhone away now so that it doesn’t have to watch its cousin getting messed up with a drill by YouTube vloggers competing for hits.
