Funktion One introduces their most compact system ever, designed with the same stringent process as their world-renowned PA systems.

Funktion One has long been at the forefront of loudspeaker development with their no-nonsense approach to audio quality. While a large number of popular loudspeaker manufacturers rely on a fair amount of processing to get the desired sound, Funktion One attempt to create a flat frequency response using the physical design of the cabinet. This core idea greatly improves the efficiency of the speaker, by reducing the cone movement.

The result of this more efficient design process is a significantly reduced chance of distortion.

Funktion One has just unveiled their most compact system to date, designed with the same stringent process that they’re known for, to create an incredibly efficient, yet compact PA system.

Weighing in at around 20 kgs, the complete 2.1 system is comprised of two F5 cabinets and an SB8 sub. The F5 cabinets are no larger than a small pair of studio monitors, while the sub is just a bit larger than you would expect a studio sub to be – yet they put out enough volume to suit installation environments and small public address systems.

Funktion One is often a brand thrown around as a status symbol for promoters and club owners, they’ve certainly made a name for themselves in the professional industry. Now DJs, smaller establishments and even discerning home listeners can have access to that highly-acclaimed Funktion One sound.

Both the F5 and SB8 are passive speakers, so they will need amplification.
