FL Studio 12.4.2 – What’s new in the latest update
FL Studio 12.4.2 has been rolled out as the latest version of the popular DAW from Imagine Line.
The main purpose behind FL Studio 12.4.2 is to clean up a few bugs in the system – in other words a maintenance update release but to sweeten the proves they have also included some new effects for the ZGameEditor Visualizer plugin.
The awesome thing about ZGameEditor Visualizer is that it has movie rendering capabilities and can also be used like VJ software.
New in FL Studio 12.4.2
- FL Studio Mobile – plugin version updated
- Razer Chroma – Support for Ornata Chroma
- ZGameEditor Visualizer – New effect (scenes\RhodiumLiquidCarbon)
- Patcher – Added plugin favourites menu back
- Copy and paste – text from warning and error messages (useful for support)
- Saving and loading projects – Now faster. Shows progress while saving project.
- Favourites – Tree view option for favourite plugin menus

As part of their announcement for FL Studio 12.4.2 Image Line have also reminded users that a MAC version is still under development. In fact it is currently in closed BETA testing phase with registered users who have signed up to try it out.
