Evermix Mixbox – Record your mixes direct to your phone
Evermix Mixbox is a DJ app that turns your iPhone or iPad into a handy dj set recorder.
Here’s how it works…
You connect the Evermix Mixbox interface to the record out on the mixer or your controller (booth out) and you connect this to your phone using the Evermix DJ app.
The Evermix Mixbox will capture high-quality audio and then send it to the Evermix DJ app which is the recording app which can also capture any photos you’ve taken with your iPhone or iPad. It also works with the iPod touch.
Once you’re done you can edit your mix in the app and then upload this and photos to the Evermix website to your own Evermix DJ page.
Aside from the obvious appeal to be able to use one’s iPhone to record what makes this and corresponding DJ app unique is that it combines the actual recording of the set with a cloud based solution with all-inclusive hardware / software and cloud storage and of course social interaction.
