Electro Audience Participation Workshop at Paul Bothner Music
Electro Audience Participation is a music production and technology workshop hosted by the irreverent Fletcher Beadon, one of Cape Town’s legends of the electronic music scene.
Fletcher will show us how he develops live tracks, using you, the audience!
He is one of only four Ableton Certified Trainers in South Africa and he currently teaches Electronic Music Production at SAE Institute at Woodstock Exchange.
Fletcher co-founded African Dope Records and is well known and respected for his work as Krushed and Sorted, specifically his multimedia shows, so it is no wonder he intends using the audience as part of his workshop.
Over his long and illustrious DJ career he has played alongside loads of top internationals, many of which are his heroes; Goldie, Massive Attack, The Freestylers, General Midi, Krafty Kuts, Seeed and DJ Vadim are just some of the artists he has shared a stage with.
He has also done his fair share of overseas gigs from Zambia, to clubs in Zurich, raves in Rotterdam and the favelas of Rio. Fletcher’s love of technology ensures that he is at the cutting edge of dj’ing trends. He is sponsored by Native Instrument’s Traktor Scratch and Akai Pro’s APC40.
