EboSuite allows you to edit, trigger and mashup videos inside your DAW
EboSuite is ground-breaking new software that opens a whole world of video editing possibilities inside Ableton Live.
EboSuite is a host of seven MaxForLive plugins for video sampling, triggering, VJing and audio-visual performances. eSampler is the first plugin on the line-up, similar to an audio sampler, it allows you to trigger and adjust video files using various parameters such as pitch – live. eCrossfade allows you to mix between video track using several crossfade effects.
eTrackTransform allows you to apply rotation, scale and movements, all of these plugins can be triggered via MIDI – giving you endless possibilities for an immersive audio-visual experience.
There are some more advanced plugins included in the bundle, eClips opens up video playback for Ableton Live’s session view while eSyphon allows you to stream video to external applications through the Syphon platform. eComper allows you to compile your eSampler MIDI clips into a single video clip, and finally eConvert which simply allows you to bounce out your video sequences.
Surely you need a beast of a computer to run this?
EboSuite is cleverly designed to run as a background application, alongside Ableton Live. All the video processing happens within the background application, which passes messages to and from Ableton. This maximises reliability in terms of audio drop-outs and overall stability while not overloading your CPU.
So, if you’re looking to add a riveting audio-visual experience to your DJ or live performance, look into EboSuite by EboStudio. It can be purchased online via Isotonik Studios, another company known for all sorts of weird and wonderful Ableton addons.
Sadly, EboSuite is Mac only for the time being, however I’m sure the windows version is in development.
